SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely to methods and devices for assessing protocol of CT-examination data collection. Method includes generation, via dose assessment device, of dose map, indicating assessment dose, precipitated on subject, on the basis of values of collection protocol parameters in collection protocol of image formation system, and generation, via device of noise assessment of, at least, one of noise map, indicating image assessment noise on the basis of values of collection protocol parameters, or map of contract/noise ratio, based on noise map and attenuation map. Dose map or noise map is generated on the basis of volume image data, with volume image data corresponding to image data, collected for another patient. Method additionally includes displaying, via display device of dose map and noise map in convenient for human perception format.

EFFECT: application of group of invention provides optimisation of values of collection protocol parameters for reduction of radiation dose.
