FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of carrying out mass-transfer processes includes feeding pulp and feedstock in dry form into a tower from the top, feeding a reagent solution into the tower from below, discharging spent reagent solution from the top part of the tower, regenerating pulsation vibrations, transmitting said vibrations into the tower, back-and-forth movement of solid particles of the feedstock inside the tower and downward movement thereof under the force of gravity along the housing of the tower, collecting the solid particles in the bottom part of the tower and unloading. Pulsation vibrations are applied directly onto the reagent solution at the point of entry thereof into the tower, and solid particles from the bottom part of the tower are unloaded into an opening at the lower point of a conical bottom and through a stream batcher-divider into the chamber of a unloading-transport unit, from where said particles move directly in a transport pipeline under pressure through an unloading branch pipe and further to the point of consumption or further processing, for which a transport liquid is fed into the chamber of the unloading-transport unit from a pump through a pulp preparation module. An apparatus for conducting mass-transfer processes comprises one or more towers, each having a housing with a conical bottom and horizontal plates with guides mounted on the vertical, a feedstock supply unit, a branch pipe installed in the top part of the tower for discharging spent reagent, a branch pipe for feeding the reagent solution into the tower which is installed in the bottom part of the housing of the tower and a pulsator with a pulsation chamber. The branch pipe for feeding the reagent solution is installed coaxially inside the pulsation chamber in the bottom part thereof directly in front of the inlet of the tower. The conical bottom has an outlet opening which is hermetically linked through the stream batcher-divider with the unloading-transport unit, which consists of a receiving container and a pulp preparation module, connected to the transport pipeline.
EFFECT: high degree of extraction of the useful component, higher reliability and efficiency of the pulsation column, high efficiency of the process and continuous unloading, longer range for transporting the finished product and lower total costs of the entire process.
