FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates a method of producing CO2 from furnace gas. Furnace gas is partially condensed in two separation stages. Each separation stage is cooled using an expanded waste gas and expanded liquid CO2. The expanded CO2 is split after passing through the last separation stage into liquid CO2 and gaseous CO2 in an additional separation drum. The gaseous CO2 and part of the liquid CO2 from the additional separation drum is expanded to a first pressure level, and the pressure of the remaining liquid CO2 is raised to a second pressure level, followed by expansion to cool the CO2 in the last separation stage.
EFFECT: low energy consumption.
