SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ammunition, particularly, to multicomponent cartridge hitting elements. Proposed hitting element comprises metal body and explosive charge. Said element is shaped to finned cigar-like body. Body front body is made of metal while rear part is hollow and includes spring, hammer and free pyrotechnic charge or explosive charge with cap of initiating explosive.
EFFECT: higher armour-piercing ability.
