FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to glass vessel forming neck ring. Ring comprises two semicircular sections (12, 14) each including, in fact, ring inserts (20, 22) for neck forming. Every body of the ring (16, 18) is created around ring insert for neck formation. Every ring section for neck formation gas concaved surface in contact with the glass which consists of its first part composed by inserts for forming of sealing appliance on vessel neck and second part made up of cases intended for forming of those vessel neck parts which has no seals.
EFFECT: higher wear resistance, minimized temperature gradient between the ring and guide, accelerated heat removal from the glass at points without seals to eliminate "thin-wall neck" effect.
