FIELD: weapon and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of development of devices for the protection of equipment from armour-piercing bullets. Multilayered combined armour contains a highly rigid frontal layer from ceramic blocks or elements joined by binders in a monolith, a high-strength power-intensive back layer and an intermediate layer. The intermediate layer is made of a plastic material having the yield strength amounting to 0.05-0.5 from the yield strength of the back layer.
EFFECT: increase of the proofness of the combined armour at the expense of the increase of the density of acoustic contact between the layers is achieved.
