FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: presented group of inventions refers to a technique of semiconductor slices for matrix elements of an ophthalmic lens. The presented method for structural formation of semiconductor slices involves separating structures of a solid ring of the matrix elements into two or more arched segments so that a portion of each arched segment contains an inner arched margin and an outer arched margin; the structural formation of a semiconductor slice by arranging the arched segments in close proximity to each other so that two or more arched segments form the ring matrix element; providing a width of a separation path between the arched segments. The above procedures aim at making the semiconductor slice possessing the above structural properties.
EFFECT: group of inventions enables reducing the semiconductor material consumption required to make the rings with optimising the number of rings, which can be manufactured by means of one slice like this.
