SUBSTANCE: method comprises forming a plurality of functional layers with an electrical function; assembling the functional layers to obtain an annular shape or part of an annular shape; gluing the functional layers with insulating layers to form a multilayer element; forming electrical connections between the functional layers; encapsulating the multilayer element. Each of the insulating layers is placed between two functional layers of the substrate. The lens comprises a polymer lens form, which encloses a multilayer functionalised substrate medium having a first and a second functional silicon layer having an annular shape, an adhesive film on the first surface of the first silicon layer and an insulating layer between the adhesive film and the second silicon layer. The outer radius of the second silicon layer is less than the radius of the first silicon layer.
EFFECT: enabling incorporation of a substrate medium into an ophthalmic lens and connection thereof to a power supply.
