FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a multilayer active insert for an ophthalmic device formed by multiple functional layers superposed on each other, and a method of forming a multilayer active paste, more particularly - to various designs of full rings containing functional layers. Active insertion for an ophthalmic lens comprises a layered composite structure, consisting of: annular substrate layers in the form of a full circle with electrical and/or logical functional characteristics; and electrical connections between the annular substrate layers in the form of a full circle. Wherein each of the annular substrate layers in the form of a full circle has an internal radius sufficient to surround the optical zone of an ophthalmic lens. A that, at least two layers of the annular substrate in the form of a full circle have different external radii. Moreover, size and layered structure of the annular substrate layers in the form of a full circle are selected so as to provide sealing of the active lens insert the in the area around the ophthalmic lens optic area.
EFFECT: invention allows to create a multi-layered composite structure.
