FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method of electric increase of capacity of a steam power plant with a water and steam circuit and a turbine arranged in it, made of several parts, into a power network. The steam power plant comprises an auxiliary steam generator, by means of which loads of auxiliary steam at start-up and/or stop of the steam power plant are supplied with auxiliary steam. According to the invention, as power is requested from the steam power plant apart from its start-up and/or stop, the auxiliary steam is supplied from the auxiliary steam generator into its water and steam circuit, supplying to the turbine of the steam power plant with additional steam. Also the steam power plant is provided for realisation of the method.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to quickly increase capacity of a power plant.
