FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a plasticiser, which is an ester formed when pentaerythritol reacts with a monocarboxylic acid and has a formula (1): (1), wherein R1, R2, R3 and R4 denote -O-CO-alkyl groups containing 4-5 carbon atoms, where said polyol is pentaerythritol and said -O-CO-alkyl group is selected from a group consisting of butyrate, valerate and mixtures thereof. The invention also relates to use of said plasticiser in mixtures with an oligomeric ester of 2-ethylhexanol and furan-dicarboxylic acid or with an adipate of pentaerythritol as a co-stabiliser and in polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin.
EFFECT: disclosed plasticiser is a naphthalate plasticiser having a shorter fusion time and high plasticising efficiency compared with industrial naphthalate PVC plasticisers.
