FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to gas analysis. The electrochemical gas sensor is presented which comprises: the housing, the first working electrode inside the housing with the first part of gas-transfer device with the first layer of catalyst on it and at least the second working electrode in the housing with the second part of gas-transfer device with the second layer of the catalyst on it, while at least one of the first and second parts of gas-transfer devices includes at least one area where its structure is irreversibly changed by means of at least one thermal welding, chemical reaction and sedimentation of material for prevention of gas-transfer through the named at least one of the first and second parts of the gas-transfer devices towards another of the named at least one of the first and second parts of gas-transfer devices. Also the method of prevention of gas-transfer in the named sensor is described.
EFFECT: improvement of accuracy and reliability of the analysis is achieved.
