FIELD: test equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method is presented to test the system to detect sample gas having, at least, one electrochemical sensor for the detection of analyte gas in the system enclosure having the inlet, the secondary sensor inside the case, sensitive to changes in gas concentration, different from the sample gas, and one or more porous diffuse elements, through which the gas is diffused, but through which the fluid transport is limited, and according to the method: near the case inlet the system of changing the concentration of gas different from the sample gas is exhaled, inside the body and the change in the gas concentration is measured, different from the sample gas, in response to exhaled air for testing, at least, one transport path of the system, including the path through one or more diffuse elements, an electronic simulation of the analyzed gas is carried out by application of an electronic request signal to an electrochemical sensor to measure the electrochemical response of the sensor to the specified email request signal. Also the system is described for detecting, at least, one sample gas.

EFFECT: simplifying and improving the reliability of detection.
