SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of power engineering. In the method of operation of a thermal power plant the spent steam arrives from the steam turbine into the steam space of the condenser, is condensed on the surface of condenser tubes, inside of which cooling fluid flows, at the same time condensate with the help of a condensate pump of the steam turbine is sent to the regeneration system, during condensation of steam they recycle low-potential waste thermal energy of steam spent in the turbine with the help of cooling fluid, at the same time in the steam turbine they use a system of oil supply to bearings of the steam turbine with an oil cooler, additionally they perform recycling of the low-potential heat of the oil supply system of steam turbine bearings.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase efficiency of a TPP due to complete recycling of low-potential waste heat and recycling of low-potential heat of an oil supply system of steam turbine bearings for additional generation of power, to reduce thermal emissions into environment.
