FIELD: physics, computation hardware.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to 3D image data processing. Invention describes the 3D image processing data to be output on 3D display for spectators in target configuration of spatial screening. Image data are composed of L.H. and R.H. images. Proposed device comprises 3D image data processor and means of image metadata for output of 3D image metadata. The latter comprise target data indicating the target width of 3D data as specified in target configuration of spatial screening. Besides, this device comprises input device for extraction of initial shift data proceeding from initial width and initial spacing between spectator pupils in initial configuration of spatial screening. Note here that initial shift data includes the shift parameter.
EFFECT: decreased image distortions owing to compensation for shift of initial and target screening.
