SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrument-making and can be used in systems for monitoring communication integrity in satellite navigation systems. A satellite navigation system (10) includes a space segment (12) having a plurality of satellites (14) which emit navigation signals (16) for reception and processing by user systems (18) for position determination, and a ground segment (20) having a plurality of observation stations (22) which monitor the satellites (14), said method including determining the error distribution of synchronisation of clocks of the observation stations (S10), transmitting information on the error distribution of synchronisation of clocks of the observation stations (S10) and receiving and evaluating the information on the error distribution of synchronisation of clocks owing to that the observation accuracy of the ground segment (S14) is evaluated based on the information.
