FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: endoscopic correction of gastric banding is conducted. A flexible core wire is endoscopically inserted into a lumen of a migrated semi-rind of a banding ring. The wire diameter makes 0.008-0.1 diameters of the banding ring. A manipulation endoscopic loop is used to grasp a proximal portion of the core and brought out together with the endoscope. Both ends of the core are placed into a lithotripter casing. A lithotripter handle is rotated to transect the banding ring with the wire through a working port of the endoscope. The banding ring is brought out together with the endoscope through the patient's mouth.
EFFECT: method provides transecting the banding ring with the wire having a diameter of 0,008-0,01 diameters of the banding ring and ensuring the endoscopic removal of the migrated bandage.
