FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technical sphere of self-lubricating articulated joints intended, in particular, for shaft installation in ring (1) or in bearing, ensuring directional effect as per progressive and/or rotational movement. The suggested invention is preferable used for the articulated joints operating in abrasive environment. Self-lubricating ring (1) of the articulated joint is made out of composite material, having Young's modulus in range from 500 N/mm2 to 6000 N/mm2, ensuring deformation under load and return to initial state after load removal. The composite material is epoxy resin or vinyl ether, or polyester, and contains reinforcement elements in form of fibres made out of thermoplastic material, and having thickness in range from 0.05 mm to 0.5 mm, also contains fillers ensuring lubrication in amount from 5 to 50 vol %. The ring (1) has at least one edge (1a) made directly during this ring manufacturing by overtopping beyond its hole (1b) to serve as sealing or protecting barrier after installation on the shaft, creating at that the crimping effect between the internal diameter of the specified edge (1a), or edges, and outside diameter of the specified shaft (2), at that crimping between the internal diameter of the edge (1a) and outside diameter of the shaft has value in range from 0.05 mm to 4 mm.
EFFECT: assurance of protection against abrasive wear in case of the articulated joint, have in view any type of external aggressive effect, and without use of the additional gasket.
