FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention applies predominantly to all types of joints requiring operation without lubrication that are self-lubricating during operation, and operated at high loads in the dynamic state. The self-lubricating hinge joint operated dynamically under high contact pressure with high contact pressure exceeding 40 mpa contains a ball joint (1) inserted in a body (2). Said ball joint (1) receives an axis (3) that is slidable and/or rotatable therein. The ball joint (1) is made by winding a fabric with small thickness of 20 to 150 mcm mixed with resin containing fillers. Said fabric is in the form of strips with a width in the range from 5 to 200 mm, wherein said strips intersect in several layers using a filament winding, wherein the angle of intersection is between 10 and 90°.

EFFECT: creation of self-lubricating compound made of polymer homogeneous throughout its thickness, without reinforcing substrate and operated under high loads.
