FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of illumination of a light box having, at least, two light sources and respective control unit and relates to the light optics system for illumination of the light box. The method of illumination of the light box intended mainly for illuminated advertisement, having, at least, two light sources, meanwhile two light sources are operated respectively by two control units. Control units are joined with each other through the respective interface. The control unit is connected to both control units through the interface, at least, two different sensors are connected to the control unit. The control unit sends control signals which depend on the sensory signals registered by the sensors through the first interface, and the light sources are controlled depending on the control signals accepted through the first interface. Also in the named method: the sensor selected from, at least, two sensors, registers the sum of artificial lighting and ambient light, the artificial lighting is deactivated and the measurements are performed by means of the sensor selected, at least, from two sensors while the artificial lighting is deactivated and brightness is adjusted.

EFFECT: method is intended, in particular, to take into account the requirements of energy efficiency and extension of service life of light sources.
