FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in heat power plants (HPP) for utilisation of excess low-grade heat of return system water for additional electric power generation. The method of utilisation of heat of heat power plants (HPP) includes supply of heating performance steam from the steam turbine extractions into the steam space of the upper and lower system heaters, supply of system water from consumers through the return system water pipeline into the heat exchanger evaporator, lower and upper system heaters. Then the system water is pumped to the supply system water pipeline, the spent steam is supplied from the steam turbine into the steam space of the condenser where steam is condensed on surface of condenser tubes. Condensate by means of the condensate pump of the steam turbine condenser is pumped to the regeneration system. Utilisation of excess low-grade heat of the return system water is performed by means of the heat engine with the closed circulation circuit, operating according to organic Rankine cycle where the cooling liquid is a low-boiling working body circulating in the closed circuit which is compressed in the condensate pump of the heat engine, evaporated and heated in the heat exchanger-evaporator, expanded in the turbine expander of the heat engine and condensed in the heat exchanger condenser of the heat engine. In special cases of the invention implementation the heat exchanger condenser of the heat engine is an air cooling condenser or a water cooling condenser, or an air and water cooling condenser. The low-boiling working body is the liquefied carbon dioxide CO2.
EFFECT: improvement of efficiency of heat power plant due to utilisation of excess low-grade heat of the return system water for additional electric power generation.
