FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to means for correction of patients' vision. Device for remote vision correction contains computer processor, connected to data storage device, and transmitter, one or more tools for measuring vision, capable of measuring data of patient's eye characteristics, and connected with processor. Data storage device stores instructions, inducing processor to obtain data about patient, obtain data, describing characteristics of patient's eye, communicate via communication net with remote vision-monitoring medical practitioner, to determine if vision correction is required, to generate means for vision correction, to generate and display one or more vision simulations basing on generated means for vision correction, to generate and display one or more simulations of patient's outlook, wearing generated means for vision correction.
EFFECT: application of invention makes it possible to increase accuracy of selection of contact lenses or glasses.
