FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: manufacturing method of waveguides of a millimetric range consists in manufacture of a mandrel from an aluminium alloy, the external surface of which repeats the shape of the internal channel of the waveguide and has the required roughness of the surface and accuracy of dimensions, in application onto the external surface of the mandrel of metal layers for formation of a current-carrying coating of the internal channel and the housing of the waveguide and in further etching of the mandrel, as well as in anodic treatment of the mandrel and application onto its external surface by means of a method of vacuum metallisation of a silver layer, onto which a copper layer is further deposited by means of a galvanoplastic method till the specified thickness of the waveguide housing is achieved.
EFFECT: improving quality of a current-carrying coating of an internal channel of the waveguide by improving accuracy and adhesion strength of the internal current-carrying coating uniformly throughout the waveguide length.
