FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: flow energy damper comprises stilling pool 1 located between the water pipe 4 and discharge channel 5, and cantilevered flow divider 6 made pointed with concave side faces 7 of the fairings. The concave side faces 7 of the fairing are secured to the cover plate 8, and side faces are secured to the side walls 3 of the pool 1 against the supply water pipe 4, and are looking on it by the pointed end. The stilling pool sill 9 is arranged above the pool 1 bottom 2, and adjoins to the bottom of the discharge channel 5. In the discharge channel 5 at the output section of the pool 1 a retaining structure is made in form of L-shape plate 11 with apron 12, its bottom end is connected with the installed shield 13 for angular movement on the axle 14 of rotation in the discharge channel 5. The shield 13 at top has secured springs 15, and at bottom float-counterbalance 16 is secured.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of operation at path of unsteady state flow of liquid due to local smoothening of pulsating water surface exiting the stilling pool to the discharge channel.
