FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: test bench of thermal state of pistons of internal combustion engines includes a housing with a cylinder sleeve installed in it, the test piston and a heater. The test bench includes an obturator in the form of a disk with holes uniformly located in its circumferential direction, which is connected to the electric motor and located in front of the piston bottom; with that, between the obturator and the housing there located is a graphite ring, a cooling system consisting of a pump connected through branch pipes to the cooling jacket of the housing, a system of crank-chamber blowing, which consists of a compressor interconnected through branch pipes to the cover plate of the housing, as well as a thermal imaging device located opposite the piston on the side of the inner surface of the bottom. Along the side surface of the piston there can be installed strain gauges between the piston and the cylinder sleeve.
EFFECT: improving accuracy of tests of thermal state of pistons of two-stroke internal combustion engines.
