FIELD: physics, geophysics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geophysics and can be used for micro seismic monitoring. This invention covers the fibre-optics system for seismic monitoring including light source to excite fibre located in borehole. At least one light transducer is used to analyze the Rayleigh inverse scattering to get acoustic signals for each of multiple points over the borehole entire length. Multiple measurement points are related to various subarrays including at least one subarray ahead of the curve along borehole path and at least one subarray behind said curve. Processor is used to define incidence angle for every subarray and to determine by triangulation of the microseismic event location on the basis of definite incidence angles.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of analysis.
