FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymerisation reactor, intended for production of butyl rubber by catalytic polymerisation of isobutylene. reactor contains: extended upper head with flowing medium deviator, fixed to upper tube grids, with shape of head and deviator being optimised in order to achieve very uniform rate of suspension in rows of tubes and to minimise drop of pressure, associated with entrance of suspension into tubes, hemispherical lower head with flowing medium deviators, placed between impeller and its lower part and intended for minimisation of pressure drop, associated with turn of flow from downflow to upflow, and straightening separators inside deviating tube, shape and size of which are optimised for transformation of radial components of rate, conditioned by rotation of impeller into axial.
EFFECT: invention provides improved thermal efficiency and improved hydraulic efficiency, lower energy consumption and longer duration of reactor cycle.
