SUBSTANCE: mechanical-draft cooling tower comprises an exhaust tower with air inlet windows along the perimeter of its lower part, coated from the outer surface by thin-fibre basalt material arranged as twisted bundles that are longitudinally extended from bottom up.
EFFECT: reduced energy intensity due to maintenance of stability of heat mass exchange under conditions of various temperature effects of environment at external surface of an exhaust tower by provision of permanence of microclimate in its inner volume.
