FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: this invention relates to an image heating device for heating of a toner image on a recording medium. The proposed image heating device includes the following: a rotating heating element; a belt assembly including an endless belt and the first and the second supporting elements; a detector; a rotation mechanism and a displacement mechanism to allow for displacement at rotation of the belt assembly by means of the rotation mechanism, the first supporting element in direction of equalisation of forces pressing the belt to the rotating heating element by means of the first supporting element on ends throughout the belt width, and to allow for displacement, at rotation of the belt assembly by means of the rotation mechanism, the second supporting element in direction of equalisation of forces pressing the belt to the rotating heating element by means of the second supporting element on ends throughout the belt width.
EFFECT: provision of an image heating device allowing for improvement not only of stable movement of an endless belt, but also state of belt contact to the rotating heating element.
