FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: tensioner comprises a base, a support element, a first and a second pulley, a swing arm, a spring, and a damping mechanism. Support element is engaged with the base and rotates about the A-A axis. First pulley is mounted on the support element. Swing arm is mounted on the support element and rotates around the B-B axis. Second pulley is mounted on the swing arm. B-B axis moves in a circumferential direction around the A-A axis. Spring is engaged between the support element and the swing arm. Damping mechanism is engaged frictionally between the support element and the base. Better damping is achieved.
EFFECT: better damping is achieved.
