SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a fuel metering unit for a fuel injection system to internal combustion engines. The invention describes fuel metering unit (10) having housing (46) and control valve (14) with gate (42), which is brought into action by drive device (12). According to the invention, housing (46) is made from plastic material. An injector can be used with different male connectors.
EFFECT: creation of a tight housing; reduction of height of a metering unit.
