FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: megohm meter is used to measure insulance of components in every set of circuits of car-thermal tanks. Obtained magnitudes are compared with tolerable threshold values to define sound conditions of insulation. Mobile set of devices is used to measure resistance of every subset of circuits of car-thermal tank. Car number is entered by portable PC keyboard along with data base on thermal relay calibration data. Relays calibration term expired, thermal relays are replaced with precalibrated ones, replacement being registered at the computer. Measurement results are loaded to computer electronic data base of diagnostics for definite car fleet and compared with threshold values to define operating conditions of electrical equipment. To allow for temperature coefficients of tubular heater resistance at designing of sound tubular heaters, used are several temperature profiles of threshold magnitudes of resistances. All entries of data base of diagnostics of shift-serviced cars are loaded into the servicing shop master computer.

EFFECT: higher quality and control of diagnostics.
