FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: furnace includes housing, dual drive, slurry feed pipe for preparation of cement clinker, head for supply of fuel and air to the furnace, water cooling plant and central lubrication system. Housing is installed horizontally and consists of three or more strips of trapezoidal shape with different sizes as to width with their increase as to the housing length from loading to unloading with formation of annular multi-sided surfaces from equilateral and oblique triangles, which are alternatively located with one another with their lateral faces. Strips are twisted in longitudinal direction relative to their longitudinal axes and bent on conical mandrel in transverse direction along screw line with formation of three or more screw grooves and screw lines of the main and opposite direction with a variable pitch along the housing perimetre, which is increased as to the housing length from loading to unloading.

EFFECT: enlarging technological capabilities, increasing heat exchange intensity and simplifying the operation.
