FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions discloses a method of pig vaccination against an impact of a high-temperature form of PRRS, including the introduction to a pig of an immunogenic composition, which contains PRRS virus of type II, which represents an attenuated form of the strain with registration No ATCC VR-2332 or No ATCC VR-2495, or their progeny, with the said high-temperature PRRS form being caused by the Chinese strain of PRRS, which has a nucleotide sequence, homologous by at least 95% to the nucleotide sequence of the strain HB-1 or JX143, as well as the application of PRRS virus of type II for the vaccination of the pig against the impact of the high temperature form of PRRS.
EFFECT: group of inventions is applied for the vaccination and protection of pigs against disease forms, characterised by high temperature.
