FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in batteries of electric energy storage units of a different type. In a battery of electric energy storage units, each battery module includes a block of in-series connected storage units, a rectification unit and a microprocessor monitoring and control system for performance of a function of effective control by intra-module active rectification of voltage on single storage units by means of an electronic rectification device, control by intra-module rectification of voltage on individual modules by means of an additional DC source connected to buses of constant after-charging voltage from an AC-DC voltage converter introduced to the battery or to output terminals of the battery, control of a temperature mode of storage units by means of a temperature sensor and a conditioning unit with actuating elements in the form of dampers, heating elements and fans and optimisation of the charge of storage units by means of an expert analysis based on statistical data obtained at operation of the battery.
EFFECT: improvement of efficiency of implementation of conventional functions for monitoring, balancing and protection; provision of temperature and noise-resistant operating conditions of a battery, which are required for its reliable operation.
