FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the press mechanism with rod intended to apply force to the refractory vessel located inside the external metal enclosure. The mechanism contains rigid elongated rod, that has first and second opposite ends, threaded bolt adjacent to the said first of the opposite ends of the elongated rod, and press device functionally located between the said elongated rod and bolt. The pressing force applied from the bolt side to the elongated rod is transferred via the pressing device made with possibility of compensation of the limited longitudinal movements of the elongated rod, this excludes the necessity of the appropriate longitudinal movements of the bolt. Also the rod design creating the mechanism element, and device containing metal are described, the later contains vessel that is supported and pressed using the at least one of such mechanisms.
EFFECT: rigid support for the refractory vessel, thermal expansion compensation, cracks rise decreasing are ensured.
