SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, surgery. A prosthesis of the orthotopic artificial urinary bladder represents a balloon from a multi-layered envelope. The envelope is made from a multi-layered soft and elastic synthetic material. Biological compatibility of the prosthesis is provided by an external and internal carbon covering. The balloon is equipped with two hollow tube elements for tight fitting of ureters and a truncated-conic element for the connection of the urethra with the prosthesis without the application of sutures.
EFFECT: prosthesis of the artificial urinary bladder makes it possible to substitute the natural bladder, does not require the application of sutures for fastening of ureters and urethra, ensures biological compatibility and reduction of a risk of rejection.
