FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine. A leading end of a surgical needle is pointed to be inserted into the tissue. The point is formed so that a point thickness is expected to be less than 5% from the needle thickness when a manufacturing process involves compression fracture or bending.
EFFECT: making the needle pointed enables increasing a compression or bending threshold with keeping the suturing process the same when the pointed part deforms.
