FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: medical surgical needle is made of austenitic stainless steel and comprises a component with cutting edges and a main part extending to a component with cutting edges. Component with cutting edges has a tip and is made with a shape, the thickness of which decreases from the main part to the point, It comprises the first part with cutting edges extending from the point and the second part with cutting edges extending from the first part with cutting edges. At that, first part with cutting edges comprises two first inclined surfaces formed by arrangement of vertices between them, and a first lower surface located between two first inclined surfaces; wherein the cutting edges are formed on the edge constituting the vertex, and on the edges, where the first lower surface and the first two inclined surfaces intersect; and second part with cutting edges comprises two first inclined surfaces formed by arrangement of vertices between them; two second inclined surfaces have bevelling, which are approximately parallel to vertex, are formed on two corresponding first inclined surfaces or on side of vertex on two second inclined surfaces, wherein angle, formed by location of vertex between two second inclined surfaces, is less than angle formed by arrangement of vertex between first inclined surfaces; and a second lower surface located between two second inclined surfaces; note here that cutting edges are made at edge making up the vertex and at edges where second bottom surface intersects with second inclined surfaces.

EFFECT: use of the invention enables reducing the insertion resistance, wherein the trace from the introduction after passing through the tissue enables making a small amount.
