FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method of detection of water or hail entry into the gas-turbine engine, and the named engine has, at least, a compressor, a combustion chamber and a turbine. The method includes the following stages: - estimates of the first indicator value standing for water or hail suction; - estimates of the second indicator value representing water or hail suction, and the named second indicator differs from the first indicator; and - calculations of the value of the joint indicator by their summation, at least, of named first and second indicators.
EFFECT: improvement of efficiency and rate of this method.
