FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the odorising methods of liquid chemical injection to the gas flow, and can be used in gas industry for odorising of the gas transported via the gas line. The gas odorising method includes measurement of flow rate of the odorised gas, saturation of gas part with odorant vapours in the evaporation assembly of one of two evaporation devices, and mixing with rest gas. Each of the evaporation devices includes service tank, saturation assembly and weighing device, at that one evaporation device is at the odorant dosing mode, and second device is at stage of the spent odorant replenishment. The saturation assembly is periodically or continuously replenished by the liquid odorant from the service tank, and the evaporation device is continuously weighed. The odorant dosing is performed by flow rate regulation of the gas saturated by the odorant vapours using the regulating valve controlled by the signal generated by the control system, as result of the data processing relating flow rate of the odorated gas, and change with time of the evaporation device weight.
EFFECT: simplified method and increased accuracy of the odorant dosing, exclusion of the gas analyser use.
