FIELD: monitoring and measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of devices for metered input of liquid reagents into fluid flow (gas, liquid or multiphase fluid medium) and can be used in various industries. Proposed device consists of a hydrostatic weighing unit with a measuring container filled with a liquid reagent, a test container suspended to the strain gage, located inside on the cover of the measuring container, reagent dosing unit, fluid flow meter and control system. Hydrostatic weighing unit is connected to the delivery container. During operation of the device, the liquid reagent from the supply container, which is replenished as required, is periodically supplied to the measuring container, in which a semisubmerged test container is suspended to the load cell, the top of which is located above the level of the reagent. When dosing the reagent, the weight of the container increases in proportion to the flow rate of the reagent. Strain gage signal is supplied to control unit, where it is processed together with signal supplied from flow meter in fluid pipeline, and the generated signal controls the number of discrete pulses of the metering nozzle, which supplies the liquid reagent to the pipeline due to the pressure created by the high pressure gas in the measuring container.
EFFECT: technical result is dosing nonvolatile liquid reagents.
