FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the design of devices for the metered-dose introduction of liquid reagents into the flow of a fluid (gas, liquid or multiphase medium) and can be used in various industries. The proposed device includes a reagent tank, a pump, a control unit, a fluid flow sensor and a hydrostatic weighing unit consisting of a measuring tank with a liquid reagent forming a phase interface, a semi-submerged test tank suspended from a strain-gage sensor placed from the inside on the lid of the measuring tank. When the device is in operation, the reagent is fed from the tank to the fluid pipeline by means of a pump whose speed is set by a signal sent from the control unit. Periodically, the reagent supply line from the container is blocked and the reagent fed from a measuring container that has previously been partially filled with the reagent. In this case, the reagent level lowers in proportion to the feed rate of the reagent, the buoyant force acting on the test container decreases, and its weight increases. The signal from the strain-gage sensor is sent to the control unit, where it is processed together with the signal from the fluid flow sensor, and the generated signal corrects the feed rate of the reagent by changing the pump speed. After the adjustment, the reagent feeding is switched back to the reagent tank, which is equipped with a line for its replenishment and is connected by a gas-equalizing line to the measuring tank.
EFFECT: technical result is simplifying and increased reliability of the device.
