FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises a hydrostatic weighing unit with a measuring vessel filled with metered gas, a test vessel, a reagent metering device and a control system (first and second versions) suspended from a strain gauge located on inside on the measuring tank lid, and a control system (first and second versions). The first version of the device additionally includes a fluid flow meter. During operation of the device according to the first version, the dosed gas is periodically fed into a measuring vessel, inside which a test vessel is suspended to the strain gauge. When metered gas is consumed in the measuring vessel, the pressure is reduced, the weight of gas displaced by test vessel is reduced and its weight is increased. A signal from strain gauge is supplied to control unit, where it is processed together with signal which is supplied from the flow meter in the fluid line, and the generated signal controls the valve supplying metered gas to the fluid line. The operation of the device according to the second version implies dosing of specified quantity control unit into closed volume.
EFFECT: high-precision gas metering.
