FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises a ring pulse generator, one of outputs of which is connected to the first input of a pulse counter, the first and second registers with combined information inputs, by outputs connected via accordingly the first and second coders with appropriate inputs of a subtraction unit, and also a trigger, one input of which is connected to a clamp of a "Start" signal, and the second one - with a clamp of a "Stop" signal, and a clock pulse input of the third register, in which information inputs are connected to outputs of the pulse counter, by the second input connected to the output of the trigger. Also the following components are additionally introduced: an arithmetic unit, the fourth register, information inputs of which are connected to the appropriate outputs of the ring pulse generator, and outputs - to appropriate combined information inputs of the first and second registers, an OR valve, by means of which the clock pulse input of the fourth register is connected to clamps of signals "Start" and "Stop", and a unit of control of ring pulse generator period, the input of which is combined to the first input of the pulse counter. At the same time clock pulse inputs of the first and second registers are connected to clamps of signals "Start" and "Stop" signals accordingly via the appropriate first and second elements of delay, and outputs of the subtraction unit, the third register and the unit of control of the ring pulse generator period are connected to the appropriate digital inputs of the arithmetic unit.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of time interval conversion into a digital code.
