FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to a needle applicable for injections and fluid aspiration and equipped with a protective device, which prevents needle point injuring. The needle has a distal end, a proximal end and a stem in between, as well as a point at its distal end, and is provided with the protective device for the needle point injuring protection. The protective device is mounted to slide along the needle stem between the first position at the proximal end of the stem and the second position at the distal end of the needle. The protective device has an enclosed casing with proximal and distal needle stem holes. When the protective device is adjusted in the second position, the needle point is found inside the casing. The protective device comprises a gate configured to cover the distal hole of the casing when the needle point is buried into the casing. The gate comprises at least one plug configured to slide from the first position displaced in relation to the distal hole, into the second position opposite the distal hole. The gate is configured to interact with an actuating element, which is mounted on the needle stem to slide along it. The needle stem comprises a driving element, which limits the movement of the actuating element along the needle stem in the distal direction. The actuating element is configured to bear against the driving element as a consequence of the movement of the protective device from its first position into the second one, and to transfer the plug from its first position into the second one with the further movement of the protective device, and to cover the distal hole in the body.

EFFECT: invention has a compact form and requires no great efforts when in use.
