FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment. A system for fluid delivery to a patient through a blood vessel comprises a tube. The tube is provided with a device for monitoring of a position of its distal end with respect to the blood vessel to detect if the distal end takes a position inside the blood vessel. The device for monitoring of the position comprises a heating element to heat the distal end, a sensor assembly for generating a measuring signal, and a comparator assembly for comparing the measuring signal to a reference. The measuring signal shows the heat transmitted by an outer portion of the distal end. The reference represents a value reached by the measuring signal in response to a minimum flow rate in the blood vessel.
EFFECT: using the invention provides monitoring the fluid supply into the blood vessel.
