FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine and medical equipment. Method of determining minute cardiac output is realised by means of central venous sensor assembly. Central venous sensor assembly contains distal and proximal intravascular sections for placement respectively in lower and upper central veins, distal unit of flow measurement, located on distal intravascular section, for determination of blood flow in direction towards proximal intravascular section, proximal unit of flow measurement, located in proximal intravascular section, for determination of blood flow in direction towards distal intravascular section. Central venous sensor assembly is connected with unit of analysis, which contains second and first inlet channels for obtaining initial data of measurements from respectively distal and proximal units of flow measurement. Unit of analysis determines first and second blood streams by data obtained respectively from distal and proximal units of flow measurement, and determines minute cardiac output in form of the sum of first and second blood streams.
EFFECT: invention will make it possible to reduce degree of invasiveness of minute cardiac output determination without accuracy reduction.
