FIELD: nanotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technologies of production of nanostructured carbon material and can be used in chemical, electrical, mechanical engineering industry in the manufacture of reinforcing fillers of rubbers and plastics, pigments for printing inks, in the manufacture of alloys, special sorts of paper, electrodes, electrochemical cells. First, the hydrocarbon fuel is burned in the combustion chamber in an oxygen atmosphere to obtain the products of combustion at the temperature of 1000-3150°C. The combustion product flow is fed from the combustion chamber to the channel having a smaller cross-section relative to the cross-section of the combustion chamber so that its rate is 40-800 m/s. The hydrocarbon raw material and the catalyst precursor of growth of carbon nanostructures are added to the flow of combustion products, forming the working mixture, it is supplied to the reaction zone, in which the temperature of 900-2300°C is maintained, where the catalyst precursor is decomposed to the catalyst particles, and the hydrocarbon raw material is decomposed to form carbon nanostructures and gaseous products. The resulting carbon nanostructures are separated from the gaseous decomposition products.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a homogeneous nanostructured carbon material containing threadlike nanofibres, single-walled and multi-walled nanotubes, black carbon particles, bulbous structures.
