FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: inventions can be used for manufacturing composites or catalysts. In preparation 3 working mixture 2 with temperature 400-1400°C, including nanoparticles, containing catalyst substance, carrying gas and gaseous hydrocarbons, is obtained. Nanoparticles, which contain catalyst substance, have average size not larger than 100 nm and are formed by condensation of vapours or products of decomposition of chemical compounds, containing catalyst substance. Working mixture 2 is introduced into reaction chamber 1, which has volume not smaller than 0.03 m3 and distance between its opposite walls or diameter not smaller than 0.1 m, provided with inlet for working mixture 2 and outlet for carbon nanostructures in flow of gaseous products of decomposition of hydrocarbons 4. Carbon nanostructures 6 are separated from gaseous wastes 40 in filter 5.

EFFECT: inventions provide obtaining of high quality carbon nanostructures 6 with high output fast and in big volumes.
